The Cowboy Wins a Bride by Cora Seton Review

This is book two in the series, and I must say I really really enjoyed it. At first I was not sure if I was going to like it simply because in the first book Claire seemed to be such a stick in the mud but I have to admit it was a great book and Jamie gave Claire just as much as she gave him.

I laughed so hard when the proposal that was supposed to take a year of wooing and what not tell it happened ending up being a five mins after I see you Jamie just spits it out. When Claire thought it was all just a big joke and another one of the guys practical jokes I felt so bad for her.

We got to learn alot about Claire in this book and more of what makes her tick. She is not such a stuck up person as we would have thought in the first book but she is so guarded and pained from her past, alot of which has to do with he mother that passed away. She is not only dealing with the grief of loosing her mother but finding out her mother was no one she thought she was even though they had a bad relationship she finds out more and more that just heartbreaks her. She on top of that is dealing with Daniel an ex who stole her money ran away with another women they came back took her company and kicked her to the curb, he is all and all a snake.

There was one twist after the next one of which was Morgan I wont go into it because I don't want to ruin anything but OMG. Shocked to say the least.

Jamie and Claire had such a chemistry that they seemed to have been fighting since they were teens. Never on the same page at the same time. Although they both loved each other they could never just get there act together and Claire was so scared of being hurt she didn't know if it was even possible to open her self up to loving yet alone being loved.

Jamie was all in 100% not doubt about it he just had to figure out how to show is stubborn as ever fiancee, that he really did want to be with her and on one else, that she was all he ever wanted. There story was sweet, loving, heartbreaking, crazy and just over all EPIC.
